Brian Kwon Acupuncture In the state of Washington if you are injured at work, you can submit a workers’ compensation claim to receive medical treatment for the injury. If the workers’ compensation claim is approved, L&I will cover medical bills directly related to your worker’s injury until a doctor certifies that the injury has stabilized and reached a point where further recovery isn’t expected.
As part of the approval, L&I will cover up to 10 acupuncture sessions for low-back injury occurred at work if it is referred by the workers’ attending provider. Please refer to my earlier blog for more details:
