Treatment modalities
Acupuncture
A select number of thin needles are carefully placed on specific location of the body. Acupuncture helps improving energy and blood flow. It can also decrease inflammation and has effect on the nervous system
Bodywork (Tuina)
Combination of massage and acupressure into powerful energetic manipulation. The manipulation includes pulling and pushing of muscles to balance your body by releasing the tensions in the muscle, ligament, disc, and vertebrae
Cupping
A hollow device (the “cup”) is placed on the skin to create negative pressure within the device. The pressure created pulls the tissue into the cup and it feels like a deep-tissue massage. Cupping is highly effective for circulating blood in the body which can also reduce pain
Moxibustion
A warming sensation therapy in which the dried herb called Mugwort is burned close to the acupuncture points of the body. This helps increase blood circulation by dilating blood vessels, thereby nutrients and oxygen can better enter into the area where the dried herb is placed. This is especially useful in replacing acupuncture needles on the points where an individual might feel too sensitive
Electro-stimulation
A form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. This is particularly good for treating pain conditions and different frequencies are used for handling acute and chronic pain conditions
Herbal Medicine
Once your condition and body constitutions are analyzed, a personalized herbal formula is created to address your need. Formulas prescribed can be in pill, dried granule, or whole-herb forms.
Craniosacral therapy
A gentle, manual healing method that releases tension in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve overall health and performance.
